A weekly number page: a headline chart for the one metric that matters, grouped tiles with deltas against the last period, sparklines, targets marked on track, at risk or behind, and a written note. Tiles open a detail sheet with a larger chart, the series as a table and the metric's definition. Read-only; the agent supplies the numbers.

Install

Build with the "KPI board" template from my Super Artifacts library.

After installing, ask me three short questions — one message, numbered — that fill the template's required slots. Wait for my answers, then build one artifact from them.

The questions that fit this template: (1) which numbers I review and where those numbers live today (a spreadsheet, an export, a database, or typed from memory); (2) the period I compare against (last week, last month, the same week last year) and which one number deserves the headline chart; (3) any targets I hold myself to, and for each metric whether a rise is good or bad. Then build a first board from what I give you: one headline, three to twelve tiles in two or three named groups, a short note in my own words about what moved and why. Show it to me before publishing, and offer to refresh the same artifact next period rather than starting a new one.

The whole board: title, the period and what it is compared against, an optional headline KPI (shown as the big chart), an optional note, and groups of KPIs. Each KPI has a value and, when known, the previous period's value, a format, which direction is good, an optional target and an optional series for its sparkline. Use null for a value you do not have; never invent one.
